Dezeen Showroom: German brand Bette has updated its range of signature glazed titanium-steel shower trays, adding features like top-tier slip protection.
Bette’s shower trays are distinguished by their glazed titanium-steel composition, which makes them strong and durable enough for the company to offer a 30-year warranty.
The trays are available in a wide range of colours, sizes and styles, including both floor-level and above-floor formats, and even the largest 2000-by-900-millimetre and 1800-by-1000-millimetre trays are strong and stable.
Among the new features is an optional anti-slip finish that constitutes the highest level of slip protection available. Invisible, smooth and easy-to-clean, it is also guaranteed for 30 years.
In addition, Bette’s shower trays feature an integrated upstand that can be tiled over during installation, giving a smart and easy-to-clean finish with no exposed silicone that can form mould.
The shower trays are plastic-free and fully recyclable, and some are made from carbon-neutral “green” steel, including the slimline BetteAir range.
