Green Hills Residence, designed by architect Price Harrison, is a stucco-clad home in Tennessee with an open-air courtyard and interiors that prioritise the display of artwork.
Readers were unimpressed with the home, with one calling it “a blot on an otherwise pretty landscape”, while another questioned, “where is the damn art?”

Other stories in this week’s newsletter that fired up the comments section included Steven Holl’s opinion piece on Donald Trump’s promotion of classic architecture, a home wrapped in a shiny steel facade and a geometric structure by Foster + Partners that has topped out in the Miami area.
