British practice BakerBrown Studio used recycled materials, including rubble from a burned-out bungalow to construct a house perched high in the South Downs.

Commenters were captivated by the home’s details, with one describing it as “nicely sited with a convincing section,” while another praised its “gorgeous materials palette and detailing”.
