Transfer Talk: Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea circling Musiala

The summer transfer window won’t reopen in Europe for a while yet, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

TOP STORY: Premier League giants look to Musiala

Multiple Premier League clubs are interested in signing Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala, according to the Daily Star.

The 21-year-old is said to have turned down signing a new deal worth £150,000-per-week at the Allianz Arena amid hopes to make the switch to England’s top flight this summer.

Manchester City are reported to be confident of winning the race to secure his signature, but they are facing competition from Liverpool, with both clubs having sent scouts to watch him during the recent 3-0 league defeat to Bayer Leverkusen. Chelsea, who Musiala previously starred for at youth level, are also believed to hold “strong interest” in securing his signature.

Musiala played a key role in winning the league title for Bayern last season, and scored his seventh goal of the Bundesliga campaign on Friday as manager Thomas Tuchel’s side drew 2-2 away at Freiburg.

– Uncertainty remains over the future of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Calciomercato.
